Super Mario Party Jamboree fans warned to stop using new products

Super Mario Party Jamboree is the third Mario Party game on Nintendo Switch and, according to Metacritic, the best so far. In 2018, Super Mario Party premiered the series on Nintendo Switch, with a release of 76 on Metacritic. Then in 2021, Mario Party Superstars reached an 81 on Metacritic. And now, three years into Super Mario Party Jamboree it has an 82 on Metacritic. That said, while the new game is good, some of the associated products that are released alongside it aren’t as good. In fact, they are so bad that those who make them tell customers not to use them.

More specifically, anyone who purchased the Super Mushroom pan should not use it according to the manufacturer of said pan. Because? Well, according to the manufacturer, it discolors the oil when heated. It’s not clear what color makes the oil, or if there are any health concerns involved, but the manufacturer says customers should stop using it and wait for more information.

The frying pan was only released in Japan, so this is unlikely to affect many outside of Japan. However, for anyone who has imported it or is thinking about importing it, this is relevant information.

Of course, as the situation evolves, we’ll be sure to update the story accordingly. In the meantime, don’t buy this Super Mario Party Jamboree frying pan because no one knows what’s wrong with it.
