cillian was found dead in his home on Mondayjust days before the scheduled broadcast of the new season of the hit RTÉ television show, Ireland’s Fittest Familyin which he competed with his family.

The first episode was postponed after news of Cillian’s sudden death broke.

At Saturday’s funeral mass, gifts including Cillian’s phone, his No. 6 jersey, a hairbrush, the Player of the Year trophy and a family photo served as reminders of a life gone too soon.

However, what caught the most attention was the blue coffin, signed with heartfelt messages from countless friends and loved ones.

Cillian’s brother Kian gave a moving eulogy which was met with applause from mourners.

In it, he talked about Cillian’s inability to lie and his strange impressions of Mrs. Brown.

“I love you more than everything in the world,” he said of his brother.

“We were the best friends. No matter how many fights we had, we would just forget about them and move on with our lives 10 minutes later.

“I’m going to miss coming home from work and finding out what POA is.

“For anyone who doesn’t know, the Action Plan is the action plan.

“All you used to say is, ‘I just go with the flow, bro.’

“You were the kindest soul with the biggest heart.”

Kian described his brother as a “strong, handsome man who was never ungrounded.”

“You were a mama’s boy your whole life. Dad and I used to bother you and she would come in and say, ‘leave him alone… stop handing him things.'”

He described the impact Cillian had on his community.

“The impact it has had on the community is overwhelming and incredible.

“I have never seen such a large and loving group of friends in my life.

“The last few days we lit up the place for you and there was no better person to do it.

“I can’t thank each and every person who did it, who came to the house and the funeral.

“The support that has been shown to you and our family – the messages, the flowers, the sandwiches, the photographs – has just arrived and we are eternally grateful.

“I’m sorry you didn’t live your dream and become a DJ like me.

“You were convinced you were going to be rich and famous before me and you got the famous role. You were all over the news. You were in every newspaper in the world. Your favorite rappers congratulated you.”

Kian described his brother as “lovely”.

“You had mountains of clothes, but for some reason you always wore torn tracksuits.

“I never knew why.

“Even when they were wet, you would go down with the hair dryer and try to dry them and the socks.

“There was no safe brush at home. You took off the handle, put it in your pocket and started your day.”

Cillian’s determination was most evident in his love of the sport.

“However, no matter what injury you had, you always fought. He always said, ‘I’m not going to go down for any man.'”

He remembered the bond he had with his grandmothers.

“I will always cherish the memories we made as brothers for the rest of my life, but the memory I will cherish most was our vacation to Orlando. You were in your element. You thought you were in Call of Duty, to be honest.

“You loved the roller coaster. I wasn’t a fan of them, but you and Katie went on the bigger ones. Heidi and I stayed in the teacups.”

Cillian was a third-year student at Blakestown Community School in West Dublin.

In a death notice on Rip.ie, the 15-year-old is remembered as the precious son of Paula and Paul, dear brother of Kian and Heidi and a beloved grandson who will be sadly missed by his family, neighbors and many others. group of good friends.
