Boonville woman seriously injured in crash on Interstate 70 Friday night

A Boonville woman was seriously injured in a crash Friday night on Interstate 70 in Cooper County.

The crash occurred at 8:33 p.m. at the 106 mile marker, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash report.

Breanna Connell, 27, was driving a 2012 Mazda CX-9 eastbound.

The report states the car went off the left side of the road and struck a center wire.

He returned to the road, veered off the right side and struck a guardrail.

It returned to the road and veered off the left side again, hitting the median cable.

Ambulance crews took Connell to University Hospital with serious injuries.
