Man arrested for allegedly threatening to blow up Ulta Beauty store, police say

(Gray News) – Authorities arrested a Louisiana man who allegedly threatened to blow up an Ulta Beauty store in Alabama.

According to a complaint filed, Timothy Lincoln, 42, was allegedly overheard by an Ulta employee while making a phone call outside the company. WRBL reported.

During the call, Lincoln allegedly said, “I’m going to blow this shit up!” The comment prompted the evacuation of all store employees and customers.

Opelika officers were called to the scene and Lincoln was taken into custody.

His mugshot shows writings and markings of various colors all over Lincoln’s face. However, officials have not commented on the brands.

Lincoln has been banned from Ulta for life.

Making a terroristic threat is a Class C felony under Alabama law. The crime carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison if convicted.
