Prince William makes very strange comments about his brother, Prince Harry, amid a family rift

Prince William recalled a transformative childhood moment he shared with his brother, Prince Harry, in his two-part documentary “Prince William: We Can End Homeless.”

In a clip posted on Saturday, the royal shared that his interest in the charity initiative began after his late mother, Princess Diana, took him and his brother to The Passage, a UK charity that supports those are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

“My mother took me to El Pasaje; She took Harry and me there. I must have been 11 at the time, maybe 10,” William said. “I’d never been to anything like this before and I was a little anxious about what to expect.”

“My mother did her usual thing, making everyone feel relaxed, laughing and joking with everyone. I remember at that moment thinking, ‘Well, if everyone doesn’t have a home, everyone will be very sad.’ But it was incredible how happy the atmosphere was,” he recalled.

“I remember having good conversations, playing chess, chatting and that’s when I realized that there were other people who didn’t have the same life as you.”

William continued: “You know, when you’re very little, you just think that life is what you see in front of you and you really have no idea to look elsewhere. It’s when you meet people, like I did then, that put a different perspective in your head and say, ‘Well, I was living on the streets last night,’ and you go, ‘Woah.’ “I remember that happening.”

A royal previously told Page Six that the only way for Harry and Charles to reconcile would be for the monarch to give Harry highest security clearance has been requesting it for several years.

“As monarch, he is the one who makes the final decisions. “That would be how father and son could reconcile,” the source said.

“Prince William: We Can End Homegiving” will air October 30 and 31 on ITV in the United Kingdom.
