Farag beats Elías and wins his third US Open title

Farag achieved an Egyptian double at the US Squash Center with a convincing victory over the reigning world champion and Qatar Classic winner. Diego Elias in the men’s final.

The Peruvian dominated when the two met in the semi-finals in Doha earlier this month, but this time it was a different story as the 32-year-old Harvard graduate took a 7-0 lead before closing out the first game 11- 4.
