Derby County 1-1 Hull City: Dajaune Brown rescues the Rams with the first goal

Derby County head coach Paul Warne told BBC Radio Derby:

“I just thought they were two good teams going for it.

“If we take the result and look at it from a performance point of view, the boys gave everything, they can’t give anything more than what they gave today.

“The guys I brought out were exhausted, there are a lot of very tired bodies and this (Hull) is a very good team.”

On Dajaune Brown’s first goal for Derby: “I had a feeling he would continue today and it would be a different problem, actually.

“He went on and injected a bit of pace, which was good, and after he scored his first goal, we’re very proud of him. I’m very happy for him. We just had a photo in the locker room. All of us with him in the medium, and that’s something you can preserve.

Hull City boss Tim Walter told BBC Radio Humberside:

“We lost two points, to be honest.

“They didn’t have many opportunities, only on set pieces. In the end we had to score a second and if you don’t score, in the end you have to be content with one point and that’s two less for us.

“After the games we’ve had this week (a defeat against Sunderland, a draw with Burnley), it’s not easy to play. It’s been a difficult week and if we had a better result on Sunday (against Sunderland) then maybe we would have made it. be satisfied with this situation.

“But in the end we want to win games and we are close to winning, but we can do even better and that is what we are trying to do.”
