Boonville woman seriously injured in crash in Cooper County Friday night

COOPER COUNTY, Missouri (KMIZ)

A Boonville woman was seriously injured in a crash in Cooper County around 8:30 p.m. Friday night, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Report.

The report states Breanna Connell, 27, of Boonville, was driving east on I-70 near MM 106 in a 2012 Mazda CX-9 when Connell ran off the left side of the road and struck a center wire. .

Connell then returned to I-70 and went off the right side of the road, striking a guardrail. Connell returned to the road, then again went off the left side of the road and struck a median wire.

Connell was taken by ambulance to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The report states that he was not wearing a seat belt.
