Did Taylor Swift give a nod to Travis Kelce with this soccer move at the Eras Tour Show?

Taylor Swift she seemed to give a funny wink to her soccer star boyfriend Travis Kelce on stage.

During her Eras Tour concert at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Friday, October 25, Swift, 34, took a page out of Kelce’s playbook, and fans are convinced the move was a subtle tribute to the tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs. 35.

When exiting “Midnight Rain” Swift mimed throwing a football while singing the lines: “And he never thinks about me / Except when I’m on TV.” A video captured by a fan on unknown (formerly Twitter) showed off the moment, and Swifties were thrilled to see the move, apparently referring to her soccer-throwing boyfriend.

“TRAVIS CATCHES THE BALL” one person commented. “@newheightshow @JasonKelce is this form of football suitable?” a second fan asked, referring to Travis’ podcast. new heightswhich he presents with his brother, a Philadelphia Eagles alumnus Jason Kelce.

“She’ll just tayvu for the Chiefs in February.” another joked, alluding to the Super Bowl 2025 which will take place at the Caesars Superdome, and the The last two years of the Chiefs winning the coveted title.

“She just cemented the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory with this tayvoodoo.” someone else agreed.

“A few months later, when the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, we’ll look at this video and say, ‘That’s when I knew the Chiefs had it.'” a third person added.

Swift previously featured Travis on her Eras Tours shows. Sometimes she makes a archer pose during “Midnight Rain”, pretending to shoot with a bow and arrow. The move is considered a tribute to Travis.who also strikes the pose during the touchdown celebrations.

The winner of 14 Grammy Awards also famously changes the words to “Karma” during his concerts, singing “Karma is the Chiefs guy who comes straight home with me”, when the tight end is in the audience.

Swift embarked on her record-breaking Eras tour in March 2023 and has since performed on five different continents and made stops in dozens of cities. The tour concludes in December.

The remaining concerts after the October 25-27 weekend in New Orleans will take place in Indianapolis, at Lucas Oil Stadium, Toronto’s Rogers Center and Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium.
