GBI, Coffee County Sheriff’s Office at Douglas Funeral Home

DOUGLAS, Ga. (WALB) – Officials from several agencies are currently at Johnson’s Funeral Home in Douglas.

Several onlookers reported seeing officials from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) at the funeral home.

According to the sheriff’s office, a search warrant is being executed. It is currently unclear what the search warrant is for.

WALB has reached out to GBI for more information and is waiting to hear back.
