Packers fans react to excitement in Jacksonville and Jordan Love’s injury

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – A big win for the Green and Gold against Jacksonville, but also concerning for fans when it comes to the status of Jordan Love’s groin injury.

For the second week in a row, the Packers won a suspenseful game against an AFC South foe, this time over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Like the game against the Texans, Sunday’s game ended with a field goal by new kicker Brandon McManus and no time left on the clock.

But once the Packers wrapped up the celebration, attention turned to quarterback Jordan Love, who was injured for the second time this season.

While Malik Willis took over the rest of the game and got the job done, Packers fans are speculating about what the team will do to keep their hot streak going as their schedule gets tougher.

“I like Malik Willis. I really believe that, but I still feel like if we’re going to win a Super Bowl, it’s got to be Jordan. I think he’s shown a lot of toughness these last two weeks, coming out and playing like that. But I hate to see him fall like this. I really believe that,” said Brock Bulkman of Seymour.

The Packers have yet to release an update on Love’s injury and don’t know the severity, but Matt LaFleur said there is “obviously a high level of concern” and they took him out of the game because they felt he couldn’t protect. itself. The MRI is reportedly scheduled for Monday.
