San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa broke into Brock Purdy’s postgame interview on “Sunday Night Football” with NBC’s Melissa Stark, showing off a Make America Great Again hat.

bosa made its appearance behind Purdy, George Kittle and Isaac Guerendo and showed his hat. He pointed to the hat and Stark recognized it before returning to the interview.

However, fans wouldn’t have known it right away just by watching the “Sunday Night Football” broadcast on :57 pm ET on Sunday.

By mid-Monday morning, the clip was completely removed.

NFL fans took notice.

Later, “Sunday Night Football” account X reposted the full clip, showing Bosa’s MAGA hat appearance. However, it was deleted and reposted shortly after.

NBC Universal Group had no comment on the issue.

It was one of the few cases in which active NFL players openly supported a presidential candidate this election season. Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker also endorsed former President Donald Trump earlier this year, while Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Thomas Booker IV has stumped Vice President Kamala Harris.

Bosa had three tackles, a sack and three QB hits.

The four-time Pro Bowler had 3.5 sacks and 25 tackles entering the game against the Cowboys. The 49ers improved to 4-4 on the year.

Bosa has been a longtime supporter of Trump, since before he was in the NFL. He revealed it in 2019. he cleaned his X account of Trump’s posts and Colin Kaepernick’s criticism over fears that the city of San Francisco will not fully accept him if the 49ers draft him.
