Cullman County Voters to Decide on 15 Percent Medical Marijuana Sales Tax

CULLMAN COUNTY, Alabama (WAF) – Cullman County voters will make their voices heard at the polls next week when it comes to medical marijuana.

Cullman voters will decide on a local amendment that calls for imposing a 15 percent sales tax on medical cannabis sales.

The local amendment will be on next week’s ballot.

Voters are being asked to decide the local amendment more than three years after the legislature approved medical marijuana. which has been slowed by lawsuits over the licensing process.
