Ipswich star rips rule book with celebration against former Chelsea

Many players raise their hands in shame instead of celebrating against their former teams.

But when Omari Hutchinson gave second-bottom Ipswich the most improbable 2-0 lead against old-style Chelsea, he tore up the rule book in style.

The 21-year-old came through Chelsea’s youth ranks before making his senior debut in the 2022-23 campaign.

He was then loaned out to Championship side Ipswich the following season, before making the decision to join the club permanently after the club gained promotion to the Premier League in the summer.

Hutchinson thoroughly enjoyed doubling Ipswich’s lead at Portman Road and wowed the home fans with a spectacular backflip.
