The Franklin County Visitors Bureau is saddened by the loss of a tourism teammate and community friend

It is with heavy hearts that the staff and board of directors of the Franklin County Visitors Bureau (FCVB) announce the unexpected passing of Kelly Spinner, FCVB Sales and Tourism Associate. Kelly passed away on December 31, 2024 of natural causes.

Kelly will be deeply missed by the Visitors Bureau and its staff and are grateful for his many contributions over nearly ten years working with FCVB. Kelly was a tireless promoter of tourism, a believer in community, and a strong supporter of local businesses. Prior to working with tourism and the Franklin County Visitors Bureau, Kelly was a radio personality, most recently at WEEO FM/103.7. Blessed with an incredible radio voice, a genuine love for people, and an easy-talking demeanor, Kelly touched the hearts and minds of many in her years working with FCVB and in radio from the tristate to Harrisburg PA. Kelly was a valuable part of the visitors bureau team. Words cannot express how much we will miss her.

The Visitors Bureau sends its deepest condolences to his family and friends. Anyone who knows Kelly can give back by sharing a laugh with someone or donating their time and talent to a local nonprofit. Kelly was a tireless advocate for Franklin County non-profit organizations for people and pets.

July is Kelly’s birth month, so a Celebration of Life is planned for July 26, 2025 at the Franklin County 11/30 Visitor Center. Hans Krose, Kelly’s husband of more than thirty years, said: “She loved people and they loved her too.”

Good luck, Kelly Spinner!
