Child in four -wheeled vehicles per vehicle, seriously injured in West Birmingham

A child in an ATV was hit by a vehicle on Saturday afternoon at West Birmingham.

The wreck occurred at 4:20 pm in Block 3400 of Avenue G.

Birmingham police said the 6 -year -old was in a four -wheeled vehicle. Additional details have not yet been published.

Birmingham’s fire service and rescue transported Children’s of Alabama, said Lieutenant BFRS Catina Williams.

Police described the child’s injuries as “older.”
