The police officer was injured in an accident with a ‘stolen’ car in A82

The officer was taken to the hospital to receive treatment, and another male officer suffered minor injuries.

A 29 -year -old man who had allegedly driving the Subaru was also taken to the hospital to receive treatment.

A 42 -year -old man is expected to appear in court later.

The road closed for an hour to allow vehicle recovery to be carried out.

Inspald Mackinnon said: “Additional research on this incident is still ongoing and we ask any motorist who has seen that the Subaru is conducted between Dingwall and the A82 before the accident, to present itself.”
