Images that circulate in social networks Yesterday showed a Garda Vehicle seen in the parking lot of a hotel complex.

Then you see two policemen running towards the patrol and jumping while a man runs with a sword and the star against the car.

Another man and a cat flee from the confrontation while the attacker, who wears a stamped robe, yells at the police.

When Gardai moves away, he begins to walk back inside, but returns and hits the car for the second time with the sword.

He shouts: “I told you. Move. Move. Move. Move. I told you. Sick, sick of the head, without medication, I told you.

The video, on Thursday around 9 in the morning, ends when the madman moves away from the vehicle, which is still going back.

It is understood that Gardai knows the man and seeks him in Northern Ireland.

It is now believed that he is a fugitive, but the authorities believe that there is no immediate threat to public security.

A comment was requested from the Garda press office and it was confirmed that the agents are following a defined investigation line.

A Garda spokesman said: “Gardai responded to an assistance call at a domestic residence in Castheany, Dublin 15, at approximately 9:00 am on Thursday, January 23, 2025 in the morning.

“Upon the arrival of Gardai, a man was observed in possession of an offensive weapon.

“Due to the aggressive nature of man, Gardai took refuge in an official patrol vehicle, while requested help to the Divisional Armed Support Unit (ASS).
