Police officer injured in crash with ‘stolen’ car on A82

The female officer was taken to the hospital for treatment, and another male officer suffered minor injuries.

A 29-year-old man who had allegedly been driving the Subaru was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

A 42-year-old man is expected to appear in court later.

The road was closed for an hour to allow recovery of the vehicles to take place.

Insp Donald Mackinnon said: “Further investigations into this incident remain ongoing and we would ask any motorists who may have seen the Subaru being driven between Dingwall and the A82 before the accident, to come forward.”
