The members of the Poverty Bay Polo club are on the road during the next two weekends, taking full advantage of the good weather.

Last weekend they competed in the Dewar Cup tournament of the Hawke Polo Club, this weekend, some of them are playing in a tournament in Cambridge, and some are going to Kihikihi the next weekend.

The transport of the harvest of the Bay of Poverty (Poverty Bay a) lost a closed match against Lexus of Hawke’s Bay in the zero goals of the McKenzie Cup on Sunday in the DeWar Cup in Hastings.

Neville Clark’s team, father and his son Burnie and Scott McNeil and Amelia Shotter were level 3-3 when entering the last Chukka, but Lexus of Hawke’s Bay scored again to win 4-3.

PB Harvest Transport had defeated Rangitikei 6-2 on Friday and Hawke’s Bay Equissage 7-3 on Saturday.
