A MALE PANEL OF TR concluded that Cosburn should receive an indefinite teaching prohibition

‘Calculated and motivated’

The 58 -year -old, who last taught at Great Yarmouth, had worked in several teaching roles from 1995 to 2019.

He had carried out his attacks, which were not in the students, for a period of 15 years between 2001 and 2016. He was arrested in October 2020.

During the MALE AUDIENCE of the TR, the panel ruled that Cosburn’s actions had been “calculated and motivated.”

He also concluded that the severity of Cosburn’s offense was relevant for his continuous suitability to teach, and “raised obvious and significant public and child protection concerns.”

The panel said that Cosburn would not be allowed to appeal against the ban at any time in the future.
