DOJ discussing the case of fall against the mayor of New York, Eric Adams, the report

President Trump’s new justice department has opened conversations between the legal team of Mayor Adams and Federal Prosecutors of Manhattan, since Hizzer seeks that corruption charges be fallen, the position can confirm.

The conversations between the ADAMS team and the United States Prosecutor’s Office for the Southern District of New York have passed through the office of the new deputy attorney general of Trump, Emil Bove, confirmed a source to the post on Wednesday night.

Although the source did not explain what was discussed, Adams’s recent trip to meet Trump in Mar-A-Lago was widely informed that he involved his legal problems. The Adams legal team is led by Alex Spiro, a high -power lawyer who also represents Elon Musk, one of the president’s closest advisors.

Before assuming the position, Trump said he would consider forgive the mayorsaying that he believes that Adams had been “treated quite unfair.”

But instead of looking for such forgiveness, the discussions are about leaving the charges to save the new president of having to use those powers of forgiveness, they said five people familiar with the discussions to the New York Times.

The Times reported that the couple has been talking on private phone in recent weeks, and although a forgiveness was never discussed, Trump mentioned the “weapon weapon” of the justice system, a complaint that has repeated with their own legal problems.

Adams has strongly denied all irregularities and their lawyers have set up an aggressive defense before an expected federal trial in April.
