Sexually harassed woman in Bengaluru by two men, the locals come to their rescue – Bangalore News

A young woman was sexually harassed in the Bengaluru Kammanahalli area in the early hours of Thursday. The incident occurred around 2 in the morning when the victim, who had reserved an Uber of Chikkamma’s design to Whitefield, was attacked by two unidentified men.

According to the complaint filed with Banaswadi Police, the woman had just entered the taxi when two unknown men suddenly made their way. Upon realizing the danger, he quickly came out and tried to escape, but the attackers dominated her. One of the men grabbed her by the neck and pushed her to the ground, while the other tried to undress and abuse her.

While shouting for help, nearby residents rushed to the scene, forcing the assailants to flee. Then, the woman approached the police and filed a complaint.

A FIR has been registered against unidentified men, and an investigation is being carried out to track the accused.
