Disabled driver come, seriously injured in US 52 in Clermont County

Washington Time, Clermont County, Ohio (WXIX) – a motorist standing outside his disabled vehicle in US 52 was hit by a large Ford truck and seriously hurt the early Thursday, according to the Ohio state road patrol.

It was reported around 5 in the morning, closing 52 for more than three hours near the Grant race road.

The 31 -year -old driver of a GMC Savana cargo truck was transferred to the Medical Center of the University of Cincinnati with serious but not critical injuries, the sergeant. Nathan Pabin said.

The 28 -year -old truck driver was not injured, he said.

He is from outside the State, from Georgia, according to OSP.

The driver of the truck is from the village of Clermont County, Neville, the sergeant. Pabin said.

The accident remains under investigation.

US 52 was closed for a few hours.
