Seriously injured in an ATV accident

Cape Girardeau County, Mo. (KFVS) – An Oak Ridge teenager was transferred to a hospital after an accident at Cape Girardeau County Tuesday night, February 4.

The accident occurred around 7:30 pm in County Road 482, at approximately 1 mile north of Millersville.

According to the road patrol of the state of Missouri, a 16 -year -old boy was driving a Honda TRX450R 2007 in the north direction when the ATV left the right side of the road and hit a embankment.

MSHP said the teenager suffered serious injuries and was transferred to a children’s hospital in St. Louis.

The MSHP accident report indicates that the ATV was expelled from the scene with moderate damage.
