Man seriously injured in Wainuiomata Street Brawl

An investigation is being conducted after a man was seriously injured during a street fight in the lower suburb of Wainuiomata.

Police have asked for public help to find those involved.

The officers were called a parking lot in the chain around 10 pm on Wednesday about the reports of people fighting.

Those involved left the scene in two vehicles before the police arrived.

A short time later, emergency services received another necessary help call at Riverside Drive, stating that a man had been injured and needed medical assistance.

He was found in his vehicle with serious injuries, which is believed to suffer in the altercation in the chain, police said.

He was taken to the hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

Police are now trying to establish the complete circumstances of what has happened and find those responsible for the injuries of man.
