Woman accused of murder for the death of man at the floating house

Boston (WBZ)-a 24-year-old woman is accused of first-degree murder for the death of a Boston lawyer who, according to the police, was stabbed in her floating home.

“But nobody has told me that this even happened in my house,” Nora Nelson shouted in the Court. “This is the first time I heard this happens in my house.”

Nelson appeared in court on Friday and declared himself innocent for the death of Joseph Donohue, 65. She said she had no idea of ​​the murder within a floating house that prosecutors said she committed.

Prosecutors described the heartbreaking details of the lawyer’s death. They said that his family had not had his news in two days and asked for a well -being check.

When the police arrived at the boat where Donohue lived on Sunday, they reported that Nelson responded to the door

“She said she was called Casey, and also declared that the victim was in a Striptease club,” said prosecutor Rita Muse.

Police said they tried to close them from the floating house and began to frantically clean the boat until they insisted on entering.

“When he opened the sliding doors in the bedroom that led to a patio area, he saw what would later be identified as the body of Joseph Donohue, 65, wrapped in a white and blue roof, secured with adhesive tape and stuck with weight ” Muse said.

Donohue had been stabbed numerous.

Later, the detectives found cleaning supplies, blood in multiple places and the knife, which is believed to be the homicide weapon, in the water. The victim’s dead dog was also found floating in the water next to the boat.

The Police also claimed fragments of Nelson’s pink nails, they found themselves glued to the victim’s chest.

However, Nelson’s lawyer, Ian Davis, said he still maintains his innocence. He was seen cleaning his eyes while listening to Donohue’s death.

Nelson currently faces charges in Texas for giving a false identification of the police and still has an open assault case to an ex -boyfriend in Boston.
