The authorities intervene just in time when an unknown man tries to enter the room of a tourist in Sattahip.

SATTAHIP, Thailand – A female tourist on Sattahip experienced a terrifying encounter when an unknown man followed her accommodation and tried to enter her room calling on the door on February 7. Fortunately, the authorities arrived in time to intervene.

The Naval Military Police was alerted by the staff of the SATTAHIP reception house, located near Dongan Bay, Chonburi, about a man who exhibited an erratic behavior while trying to enter the woman’s room.

Upon arrival, the officers found the suspect in an apparent, incoherent and unconscious poisoning state of their actions. He was immediately arrested to the Sattahip Police for greater investigation, including a background verification of any previous criminal offense.

Eye witnesses reported that the man had been following the tourist from the beach in front of the SATTAHIP district office before persistently calling his door. The tourist, realizing the danger, quickly contacted the hotel staff, who later alerted the authorities. If I had opened the door, it could have had a serious risk.

The area near Sattahip beach has become an access point for vagrants that sleep regularly, often causing disturbances. Despite frequent incidents, no government agency has taken decisive measures to address the problem, which raises concerns about the safety of tourists who visit the area.

The rapid thinking of a tourist and a quick response from the authorities prevent a potentially dangerous situation.
