West Ham News: Opinion – Brentford Win looks crucial

We could still be very early in the West Ham reign of Graham Potter, but the match at Saturday against Brentford It has as an element of “winning about it.

We are 15th in the league already 10 points above the descent zone, so there are currently minimal fears of a battle against the fall at this stage. In fact, our aspirations are much higher, especially with Potter in charge and really positive signs of progress since he replaced Julen Lopetegui.

But all that is needed is a series of disappointing results and there is the possibility that we can be absorbed by something that currently does not seem likely. With Everton improving under David Moyes and Lobos more than capable of collecting points under Vítor Pereira, it would not be difficult for us to slide below on the table.

We are without a victory in three league games and we have Arsenal and Newcastle to play in two of our next four games. Then, Brentford’s visit this weekend and then the game at home against Leicester at the end of the month will be huge for our possibilities to maintain the rhythm of the tastes of Manchester United, Tottenham and Crystal Palace, who are pressing to end up in the Upper 10.

Three points at home to Brentford will also help increase the factor feeling good in the club. The bees have won only two games on the road throughout the season and have collected only eight points from home, only Southampton has fewer distance points, so this is the perfect opportunity for Potter and his players to collaborate a score for The rest of the rest of the rest of the season.

We do not have much to play, apart from pushing as soon as possible from the table, so winning aside four points on us on the table will provide us with a realistic possibility of doing so.

I fear that defeat on Saturday could have a harmful effect on what comes next, since it could mean a streak of five league games without a victory for when Leicester arrives in the city. By then, trust could be a rock background once again.
