Cardiff City: Wales Captain Aaron Ramsey, fits to face Bristol City

The head of the city of Cardiff, Omer Riza, says that the captain of Wales, Aaron Ramsey, is available for Saturday’s championship game against Bristol City at Cardiff City Stadium.

Ramsey was lost five months due to injuries before returning for the victory of the fourth round of the Bluebirds FA Cup on Stoke City last weekend, but did not appear when Cardiff fell to a defeat in the middle of the week in Portsmouth.

The loss in Fratton Park means that Cardiff is only two points in the relegation zone of the championship ahead of the Severnside Derby, which has come to mean a lot for supporters of both clubs.

With only six points separating seven clubs at the bottom of the division, Riza says that Ramsey’s availability could a key factor for his side.

“We have to handle players correctly. The games are becoming thick and fast, everyone has the same problem, they cannot select the same players for each game,” he said.

“Aaron played in the FA Cup and could not participate in the game later.

“It will be available for Saturday and we will see what selection it occurred to us.”

Riza says that Cardiff will be without the extreme Ollie Tanner, that he has a fractured foot and midfielder Alex Robertson, who has received an injury to the hamstrings.
