Domantas Sabonis makes NBA history in Kings vs Pelicans

Mount a streak of three consecutive victories, the Kings of Sacramento entered Thursday’s confrontation against the New Orleans Pelicans Seeking to stay hot in the gathering of the star game. Unfortunately for the Kings, its hot streak came to an end, since the Pelicans won a 140-133 victory in extra time.

The Pelicans were led by CJ McCollum with 43 points, including a 11th franchise record in the extra period of time. McCollum became too much for the kings to drive, since Sacramento could not get a victory despite two incredible individual actions.

The new star guard of the Kings, Zach Lavine, had its best game since it arrived in Sacramento with 32 points and 10 assists, but the Sabonis Domanta star center had a historic night.

Sabonis fell 22 points, 28 rebounds and 5 assists in 10-16 shots from the field and 1-2 from beyond the arch. The big man of the Kings becomes the first player in the history of the NBA to register more than 22 points, more than 28 rebounds, more than 5 assists and shoot more than 60% from the field in the same game, by Head.

While Sabonis’s historic night came in a loser effort, it was still an incredible performance of the Kings star.

In Thursday’s game, Sabonis averaged 20.4 points, 14.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game with 60.0/45.5/75.3 shooting divisions. Despite his incredible season, Sabonis was omitted from the game of stars and, on the other hand, will rest for a week to look towards the impulse of the playoffs of the Sacramento season.
