Quaker Oats withdraws 10,000 boxes from the Pearl Milling Company Pancake company for the risk of milk allergy

Quaker Oats Co. has removed 10,000 pancake mixes because it contains milk not declared on the label and could represent a risk of potentially dangerous allergic reactions.

The company based in Chicago, a Pepsico unit, removed the 2 -pound boxes from the original Pancake & Waffle of 2 pounds sold in stores in 11 states. Consumers would have been able to buy the mixture of affected pancakes in early November 2024. The boxes have a 30000 65040 UPC code and a better date of September 13, 2025.

The mixture, previously sold as Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix, was sent to stores in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Utah and Wisconsin.

People with allergies or milk sensibilities could develop a serious or potentially deadly reaction if they consume the market removed from the market. No allergic reactions related to retirement have been informed, said the company. Consumers with such conditions should rule out the product.
