Chicago sky: dangerous cold temperatures to bring wind shocks -25 on Monday -30 on Tuesday

Chicago (WLS) – Temperatures have collapsed in the Chicago area on Monday, with even colder temperatures established for Tuesday.

The National Meteorological Service has issued a cold weather warning until 11 in the morning for La Salle, Dupage, Kane, Kendall, Lake Il and Northern Cook counties.

Another notice will enter into force at 9 pm on Monday.

The ABC7 Accuweather meteorologist, Tracy Butler, says that the maximums on Monday will remain in individual digits, with chills from -25 to -10.

The heating centers will open in the Chicago area for very cold temperatures.

It is forecast that on Tuesday it will be even colder, with chills from -30 to -15.

The NWS says that the wind cools this cold could cause freezing in the skin exposed in just 30 minutes.
