The morning fire in Jefferson City leaves a seriously injured man

The teams were at the scene of a fire early in the morning for several hours on Monday.

The Jefferson City Fire Department (JCFD) responded to a storage building fire reported near the 2500 block C in Jefferson City.

The teams arrived around 1:38 am and discovered the installation very involved in the fire.

When the Firefighters began to attack the flames, helping the EMS of Cole County found a male occupant outside the building in a critical condition.

According to a press release, the man was taken to a local hospital before being transported to a burning center in St. Louis.

JCFD said he is in serious but stable condition after 10 am on February 17.

No fire hydrants were reported in the area, which led to the Cole County Fire Protection District to contribute two water tankers to help the ferry in water to extinguish the flames.

The launch indicated that this operation took several hours to contain due to the lack of a source of water and freezing temperatures.

Fire officers declared that the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Office of the Missouri state firefighters.
