Repeat sexual offender who “terrified” the imprisoned girls

A repeat pedophile who “terrified” two girls when he tried to expose themselves indecently has been imprisoned for almost four years.

Peter Melville, previously known as Raymond Gasson, approached 12 -year -old girls in Covingham, Swindon, and told them he was sexually attracted to them.

The 60 -year -old, who has more than 10 previous sentences for sexual crimes, then unbuttoned his pants and tried to expose himself.

Melville, from Highland Road in Portsmouth, declared himself guilty of violating an order of prevention of sexual damage and gave him a 46 -month prison sentence in the Swindon crown court on Friday.
