11 -year -old boy, seriously injured in an M606 accident

An 11 -year -old boy suffered serious injuries in an accident between a car and a truck that closed an important route to Bradford for several hours.

The child’s wounds were not mortal, police said.

It was one of the four people taken to the hospital after the accident in the M606 near the Junction 3 in the north direction at 17:40 GMT on Monday.

National Highways said the road opened around 02:30 GMT on Tuesday.
