The new Netflix War Document is its best 2025 series so far, and is 100% in Rotten Tomatoes

Netflix has already launched several new and very intense shows in 2025, from The Gritty Western drama “American Primeval” to the chilling Science fiction thriller “Cassandra”. But reality often triumphs over fiction, and “survive Black Hawk Down” is a convincing case study that succinctly demonstrates this point.

“Survive Black Hawk Down” landed in the Transmission Service earlier this month (February 10), and within a relatively short time space, it has managed to cause a great impression in the base of the platform subscribers. It is currently located at number 3 on the list of the 10 most seen of Netflix behind only the new Reality TV Juggernaut “Love Is Blind” and the Grand Final of “Cobra Kai”.

They are still the first days, but this three -part documentary is making a strong impulse to be named among the best Netflix originals of the year. The greatest strength of “surviving Black Hawk Down” is its commendable effort to provide a balanced point of view. Produced by Ridley Scott (director of the movie “Black Hawk Down”) and directed by Jack Macinnes, the western perspective dominates to a large extent, with the US troops given the greatest amount of air time, but the Somali civilians and even those who fought Against US forces an opportunity to tell their own stories, and crucially, it is not a villain.

They also do a great job that transmits even more the pure chaos of the conflict and help to give life to the often chilling words of the fighter. “Survive Black Hawk Down” is that ideal combination of a very interesting topic, presented in a well -elaborate and strictly choreographed way. I am not the only one grabbed by this new Netflix documentary. “Survive Black Hawk Down” currently has a perfect 100% score in Rotten tomatoes. However, this percentage comes from a small sample size of five grades, so it could fluctuate if more reviews are published later.

Benji Wilson of Ireland independent He said: “Survive Black Hawk Down ‘does everything possible to represent the absolute chaos of the battle while offering context and retrospective.” DecisterJoel Keller praised Doc for offering “an amount of details to which most people had never been exposed before.” Daniel Hart de Need -row He offered a positive review, but pointed out “(surviving Black Hawk Down) somehow manages to drag with three episodes.”
