The star chef 4 Dave ‘terrified’ after witnessing horrible crime levels in French migrant camps

The star chef Dave Marshall has revealed that he felt more terrified in the camps of French migrants than during his time in Syria while filming the documentary series of the Channel 4 “return to where you come.”

Nottingham’s 35 -year -old chef made the surprising admission during an appearance in GB News with Lee Anderson.

Marshall, who joined five other British in the dangerous trip to experience the routes of asylum seekers, described being deeply disturbed by the high levels of crimes that he witnessed in the camps throughout the north of France.

In a surprising revelation, Marshall described his Syrian experience as unexpectedly cozy.

“When I arrived in Syria, I thought we would not be welcome, but I couldn’t be more wrong,” he told GB News.

“They were families with children and were some of the most pleasant people I have met in my life,” Marshall explained.

The chef described his encounters with Syrian families as “the saddest I have seen”, highlighting the human face of the nation devastated by conflicts.

His experience in Calais painted a very different image.

“When I arrived in Calais, they were just single men. I didn’t see any children or family,” Marshall said.

Chef’s observations revealed a worrying demographic contrast with their Syrian experience.

“They didn’t seem very good people,” he said bluntly during his GB news interview, highlighting the marked difference between the two locations.

Marshall’s revelations about criminal activity in the French fields were particularly disturbing.

During his time there, he spoke with Syrian migrants who revealed alarming details about life in the camps.

“There was a lot of crime,” Marshall revealed. “I talked to some Syrians there and said that a lot of rape continues, crime with a knife.”

These testimonies of the camps painted a worrying image of the conditions faced by those who expect to cross the channel.

Perhaps the most worrying was Marshall’s revelation about smuggling operations within the camps.

“Smuggling is done by immigrants,” he revealed to GB News.

His testimony suggested a disturbing exploitation cycle, with Marshall adding that “they are using people’s lives to earn money.”

These revelations shed a new light on the complex challenges faced by the authorities in northern France, where criminal companies seem to be operating within the migrant communities themselves.
