The suspects left the scene after a car was plowed on a property in Eccles and caused a gas leak, with ‘terrified’ residents forced to flee.

Police and firefighters were called to the accident in Liverpool Road around 3.35 pm on Sunday (February 23) and found an abandoned car that had stayed with a completely crushed hood. It is believed that the car had joined a close block of floors, causing a gas leak.

Since then, emergency services have confirmed that they were called to the reports of a car that crashed into a property. The consultations are now ongoing to track the occupants of the vehicle involved.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester He said: “Emergency services are currently responding to a traffic collision in Liverpool Road in Eccles.

“A car has collided with a property and the occupants of the vehicle have fled. The consultations are ongoing to locate them. The properties were evacuated as caution and the residents have been able to return.”

A spokesman for the Fire Service and Rescue of Greater Manchester (GMFRS) said Sunday night: “Around 3.35 pm on Sunday, February 23, two Eccles and Eccles Fire Trucks and Salford The Fire Stations, and the Technical Response Unit of the Ashton-Lander-Lyne Community Fire Station, were called to attend a traffic collision that involves a vehicle in Liverpool Road, Eccles.
