“She left the hotel with him and made him disappear,” said the accusation, without additional details.

Throughout the following year, Phelps would transfer the monthly social security payments of the third victim and constantly took money from the victim’s bank account making purchases and retreats from ATMs, prosecutors alleged. She is also accused of taking her BMW and supposedly tried to become a beneficiary in the victim’s union retirement account.

The last victim that is quoted in the federal accusation was found dead on the floor of his bathroom in Guadalajara, Mexico, one day after prosecutors claim that it was an appointment with Phelps around May 30, 2022.

Following the same employer as with other victims, Phelps is accused of stealing the final victim’s accounts or trying to access them, including the use of one of their accounts to buy a APME Gold currency that supposedly sent by his house.

CBS News has contacted FBI for more information. It is not clear if Phelps still has representation, and his extradition to the snowfall is ongoing.

If it is convicted of all charges, Phelps faces a maximum legal fine of life imprisonment, according to prosecutors.
