Weekend of the Saginaw SportshightSts: Alex McCarthy de Nouvel area affirms the regional title

After losing the classification for the Round of the State Championship of Division 4 as Junior, Alex McCarthy, Senior of Nouvel, showed that he has returned and is ready to repeat.

McCarthy won the Bowling State Title of Division 4 in 2023 before losing the opportunity to repeat in 2024. McCarthy won the regional title with 1,186 pins, while his teammate Noah Montini (1,025) was also qualified for the state meeting on Friday and Saturday in Northway Lanes in Muskegon.

McCarthy and Montini also brought Nouvel to the title of the regional team with 2,922 pins.

St. Louis and Ithaca were classified for the final of the state team of Division 4, with St. Louis winning the regional title in Riverwood in Mount pleasant with a score of 3,261. Ithaca was second with 3,220.

Ithaca claimed the first three places in the individual tournament behind Broden Peska (1,228), Neil Anderson (1,217) and Bryson Lebaron (1,207). St. Louis also described three people: Michael Mitchell (1,204), Tailan Raby (1,147) and Merick Bartlett (1,125).

Division 3 defending champion Frankenmuth obtained the opportunity to repeat, ending second in the regional of Northern Lanes in Sanford. Bullock Creek ended first with 3,488 pins, followed by Frankenmuth with 3,285.

Bulock Creek’s Cole Gilbert obtained the individual regional title with 1,249 pins, followed by Frankenmuth’s senior, Liam Liddle (1,249), Meridian Senior Maxx Burdick (1,248), Bullock Creek Senior Dylan Workman (1,223), Alma’s Peyton Clark (1.209 ) and Koby Shunk of Alma Koby Shunk (1,223), Alma (1,196).

Also in Division 3, Chesaning’s senior, Theodore Lowe, qualified for the state meeting in Jackson, ending the sixth (1,104) in the regional in the Bowling center of B in Flint.

The last year student of Midland High, Evan Daly, ended third in Division 1 Regional in Grand Blanc lanes with 1,376.

Bulock Creek won a regional title in Sanford Lases, ending first with a 2,585 score. JOCHEY WASALASKI OF MERIDIAN ended second individually (940), with the Junior of Bullock Creek, Trinity Rowe, third (937) and his teammate Ariana Swantek Seventh (890).

At the division 4 meeting in Riverwood in Mount pleasant, Ithaca Senior Isabel Guild won the individual title with 1,071. Brekenridge filled the next two places with Junior Raegyn Mayer (1,028) and Junior Miranda Bloomquist (984). Estes Purvis de Ithaca was fifth (961).

Brekenridge finished second in the team scoring with 1,692.

In the Regional Division 4 in Lanes Monitor, Lillian García, Senior Lutheran of Valley, Lillian García qualified with a second place (1,041). In the regional division 1 in Grand Blanc Lanes, Brooklyn Sutter of Midland High finished second (1,173), with Haylee Hodges of Heritage Seventh (1,145).

Competitive joy

Sanford Meridian was classified for the state meeting of competitive joy at the Central University of Michigan, ending third in Division 4 regional in the center of Michigan. St. Charles ended sixth, losing the cut to qualify.

Pewamo-Westphalia first took 771.14, followed by Hanover Horton in 766.16 and Meridian with 760.62.
