Parent launcher, Cole Poplham, is beaten on the face by 102 mph line drive

San Diego Padres launcher, Cole Poplham, received great success in the field.

The departure adds that the parents manager, Mike Shildt, confirmed that Poplham had remained aware and alert after the incident and was evaluated in the field for several minutes.
