The last of the Vatican on Monday morning indicated that Pope Francis remains in critical condition that receives treatment for double pneumonia and a slight renal failure.

The 88 -year -old pontiff had breathing difficulties for several days before being admitted on February 14 at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome.

The doctors then diagnosed him pneumonia in both lungs.

Jacksonville’s health director, Dr. Sunil Joshi, told The Morning Show that this serves as a reminder that we must take respiratory problems very seriously, especially in older adults.

They discussed the symptoms, diagnoses and treatments for infections of the lower respiratory tract and what happens if they are not treated.
