IMPACT CHARTER DEMAND FILES AGAINST BESE

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – The Board of Primary and Secondary Education of Louisiana (BESE) is being sued by the Autonomous School of Impact in the Federal Court.

The parents of students attending Impact Charter also filed a lawsuit on JDC.

The presentation occurs less than a week after Bese voted to create a new board in charge of the Autonomous School of Impact.

In both lawsuits, Impact Charter and parents are asking the courts for a temporary restriction order and a preliminary judicial order against Bese that stops their decision to withdraw the Board.
