Man accused of violating a disabled woman for adults in the Northell Day program

A man accused of raping an adult woman disabled in a nursery center for adults in Norwell received the order to celebrate after a danger hearing on Monday, said the Office of the District Prosecutor of Plymouth, Timothy J. Cruz.

Chidiebiere Fred Onyebiri, 39, was prosecuted in the Hingham District Court last week for charges of rape, indecent assault and aggression to a person of 14 or more, and indecent assault and aggression to a person over 60 years/ disabled, prosecutors said in a statement.

He declared himself innocent of the charges. He was ordered, waiting for the hearing on Monday, according to the statement.

The 62 -year -old woman was allegedly violated on January 8 by a personnel member unidentified in an adult day qualification in Norwell when she helped her to the bathroom, Cruz’s office said.

It was taken to the South Shore hospital, where it was evaluated. The Norwell Police reported the alleged violation of the State disabilities protection commission.

“As a result of the investigation, Norwell’s police developed a probable cause to arrest and accuse Onyebiri, and was arrested,” prosecutors said.

He will return in court on March 18.
