José Mourinho accused of making ‘racist statements’ of Galatasaray | News from the world

Galatasaray accused the chief coach of Fenerbahce, José Mourinho, of making “racist statements” against the Turks and saying that they intend to launch criminal procedures against him.

The leaders of the Turkish league said they would also file complaints to the UEFA and FIFA government bodies about the “derogatory” comments, which said they were presented after Monday 0-0 on Monday between the two best sides.

After the match, former Chelsea manager, Manchester United, Tottenham and Real Madrid commented on the behavior of Banco Galatasaray, saying they were “jumping as monkeys” after an early challenge.

He also welcomed the decision to bring Slovenian officer Slavko Vincic to officiate the game and said it would have been a “disaster” if the game had been arbitrated by a Turkish official.

The referee, who officiated the final of the last season champions, was recruited by the Türkiye Football Federation. He was chosen after several recent controversies in Turkish football.

‘Inhuman rhetoric unequivocally’

A declaration of Galatasaray said: “From the beginning of his management duties in Türkiye, Fenerbahce’s manager José Mourinho He has persistently issued derogatory statements directed towards the Turkish people. Today, his speech has intensified beyond merely immoral comments in an inhuman rhetoric unequivocally.

“Therefore, we formally declare our intention to initiate criminal procedures related to the racist statements made by José Mourinho, and consequently we will present the official complaints to UEFA and FIFA.

“In addition, we will diligently observe the position adopted by Fenerbahce, an institution that professes to defend ‘exemplary moral values’, in response to the representable behavior exhibited by its manager.”

The statement was published on the club’s website under the headline: “Say no to racism.”
