The jaw of man broken in ‘attack not caused’ in Mathew Street Club

A man broke his jaw inside a nightclub in the city center in what is believed to be an “not caused” attack. The victim was in the Rubber Soul nightclub at Mathew Street on the night of Sunday, December 29 when he was hit on the face three times.

He fell to the floor and the criminals did a short time later. The man went to the hospital the next day, where it was discovered that he had suffered a fractured jaw and nerve damage.

The Merseyside police have now issued CCTV images of a man and a woman who believe they could have information that could help an investigation into the severe assault.
