St James, Jamaica-Mongo Bay United (MBU) came from a half-time goal to win a 1-1 draw against the leaders Mt pleasant FA in the Montego Bay sports complex on Monday when the second round of the Jamaica Premier arrived League to an end.

Monte pleasant FA, who played most of the game with only 10 men after Jahshaun Anglin was sent on time added in the first half after they showed him a second yellow letter, leads the boards with 62 points, seven more than the second place. Arnett Gardens who beat Vere United 2-0 in the first double-man game with Montego Bay United in 50 points.

The first six are completed by defending champion Cavalier FC, who are fourth in 44 points, Portmore joined 41 points and Waterhouse FC in 37 points.

On Monday, Mt pleasant FA took the lead in the 32nd minute, against the game race, when Mbu defender Odean Nish inadvertently put the ball on his own goal after trying to block a crossing of Shaquille Bradford.

Over time exhausted in the first half, Mt pleasant FA lost Anglin, who had shown his first yellow letter in the 36th minute, while jumped by a ball with a demar Phillips of MBU who fell to the grass holding his head.

Mbu attracted the level four minutes in the second half, when Johann Weatherly was faster to a ball than the MT Plelanant defense had not been able to clear and hit him beyond goalkeeper Shaquan Davis from approximately four yards.

In the first game, Arnett Gardens dominated Vere United after scoring the opening goal after only three minutes when Fabian Reid promoted a ball from outside the area to goalkeeper Richardo White. They scored their second goal in the 86th minute.

Defender defender Michael Forbes was punished by Warner Brown, who pounced on the loose ball and directed it to the left corner of the goal, scoring his 15th leader of the season.
