Owen Rutherford jailed by fatal Northumberland Crash

A speed driver who killed another motorist and left three people with injuries who change their lives, has been imprisoned for more than 11 years.

Owen Rutherford’s seat, Leon crashed with a Kia Nero in the A68 in Beukley Bank, in Northumberland, in October 2023, after having traveled to more than 85 mph (135 km/h).

Police said he was imprudently driving, advancing in a blind summit under the influence of cocaine.

During a previous audience in the Newcastle Crown Court, the 25 -year -old, Ridsdale, near Hexham, Northumberland, declared himself guilty of death for driving dangerous and three positions of causing serious injuries due to dangerous.
