No charges were presented, a man of Santa Rosa released after the arrest by the deaths of adolescents’s fentanyl

It is suspected that Ramon Núñez sells cocaine containing fentanyl. The drugs killed two students and hospitalized two others during the weekend, police said.

A man from Santa Rosa arrested under suspicion of selling cocaine that contains fentanyl to local high school students who died during the weekend He appeared in court on Tuesday morning, but was released after prosecutors refused to present charges.

Ramon Núñez, 21, was arrested on Sunday morning in Santa Rosa Avenue after the police linked him to the alleged fentanyl overdose of two local teenagers: Gia Walsh, 16, a young man in Santa Rosa High School , and Logan Camp, 18, a senior. In Montgomery High School.

The authorities alleged that Núñez sold what adolescents thought it was cocaine, but in their place there may be fentanyl content.

Despite his arrest for suspicion of homicide in second degree and supply of narcotics to a minor, Núñez was released after his appearance in court on Tuesday when prosecutors said they needed more time to investigate.

The attached prosecutor of the District Thom Gotshall told Judge Troye Shaffer that prosecutors are still reviewing the case, and Núñez was ordered to return to the Court on April 28.

A public defender helped Núñez in court, but has not been officially appointed to represent him.

Four friends of a victim attended the audience, but refused to talk to journalists.

Two Other teenagers were hospitalized In separate suspicious fentanyl overdose, but the police have not confirmed whether these cases are connected to the deaths.
